Gerald Glasper
Lead Singer: Better known as Quad G. Gerald "Good God" Glasper has been a standout in the entertainment field for over 20 years. Quad G is well versed in the moves and sounds of the "Godfather of Soul". He brings outstanding energy and dynamics to the stage, while capturing the imagination and charm of "Mr. Dynamite". In addition to his many talents, Quad G does a great Michael Jackson and Rick James impression. Catch just one of his performance, and your hooked for life.

Joe Silva
Guitar Player: The Silver Fox has been at it for over 35 years. Joe has opened for such performers as The Youngbloods, Sha Na Na, The Chambers Brothers, Bo Diddley, Country Joe and The Fish, Tower of Power and many others. Joe has been at this project for the past 4 years. The love of James Brown's music is forever embedded in the blood Joe.

Kevin Hill
Kevin brings an East Coast groove to the Bay Area. Studying under top studio and stage musicians from New York, Kevin learned timekeeping precision for the big band and theater, and honed technical and showmanship skills while playing quads in the Penn State Blue Band. Thirty years later, groove is in Kevin's heart, and today's technology enables the exciting fusion of electronics with acoustic drums for a moving dance experience. Around the Bay Area, Kevin can be seen laying down the funky grooves of James Brown, to smooth R&B, to today's top pop hits.

Gary Kirven
Gary has been playing bass guitar here in the Bay Area music scene his entire life. He started out at an early age playing in a gospel quartet Called the Sacred Bells in Vallejo Ca. Gary also was in a Band called Soul Institution that opened shows for Project Soul who is now Confunkshun. Gary has played and toured with The Gospel Hummingbirds,Daryl Coley, Daryl Norman and Praise and Walter Hawkins. You can see Gary laying his Signature funky bass lines in Papas Bag James Brown Tribute and The Drifters.

Dan Grijalva
Sax: The Italian Stallion has played for groups that have toured the USA extensively. His versatility in soloing makes him one of the tops in soul and funk. When he cuts loose, there's no telling where it will go.

Rolando Zamora
Sax: Ro has been playing the Sax for over 25 years. He has played with many groups in Northern California. When Ro gets into it, there is no stopping him. He is "The Cape Man" behind Mr. Please, Please, Please.

Mike Scott
Trumpet: Mike has been at the Trumpet and Fugal Horn for over 40 years. Mike has toured in the Wilson Pickett Band, Betty Wright Band and KC and the Sunshine Group. Mike brings his dynamics to PBJBE in screaming solos and styles.
